Detox Services and Lymph Drainage

What You Need to Know

The Lymph System, Circulatory System and Digestive System are a Trifecta for a Healthy Immune System!

Together these systems work continuously to keep our body at peak performance. But…you have to do your part too!

Everyday our body is overexposed to chemicals, pollutants and toxins which is has to absorb, process and eliminate.

Most of us have between 400 and 800 chemical residues stored in the fat cells. The problem is excretion. If our systems are not functioning optimally, these toxic wastes linger, clogging the lymphatic system, leaving our cells and organs sitting in a very inflammatory environment. The end result is a compromised immune system.

Today’s sedentary lifestyle, injuries, tight muscles also lead to the lymph becoming stagnant.  To make it worse, the body can retain residue from any type of stagnation for months or even years.
Your health is not in a bottle of pills. It’s within you!

“When you invest in your health, the dividends are immeasurable”
Currently, the EPA has more than 85,000 chemicals listed on its inventory of substances that fall under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).  According to the WHO, an estimated 24% of the global disease burden and 23% of all deaths can be attributed to environmental factors.  Add to that list the burden of stress, an unbalanced work schedule, medications, etc.

The Lymph System is the body’s most under appreciated system, yet its job is to supercharge the immune system

The lymph system helps with immune surveillance by destroying bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi from running throughout the body.

The lymph system is uni-directional and fights gravity. This means it must be pumped by the body’s movement to keep it circulating.  Bodily movement such as breathing, intestinal activity, and muscle action/exercise all assist in creating the flow throughout the body.  Just drinking more water is not enough to get your lymph circulating and toxins eliminated.

Fluid Flow is Life

You body talks to you.  Are you listening?  Signs that your body needs cleansing. Overall Weakened Immunity, Swelling/Edema, Allergies, Food Sensitivities, Arthritis, Chronic fatigue, Digestive disorders, Bloating, Insomnia, Skin conditions, Frequent Headaches, Frequent Colds/Flu, Sinus infections, Excess weight, Brain Fog, Parasites, Enlarged Lymph Nodes, Unexplained Illnesses…

Tuning Fork Lymph Flow Session

This session is specific for enhancing the flow of lymph throughout your body.  Tuning Forks are glided along your body as the vibration of the fork stimulates fluid flow in an upward direction towards main sites of drainage.

The vibration helps to break up congestion along the lymphatic system, concentrating in areas where the nodes are most dense. The gentle vibrational massage facilitates the toxins to be released.

Preparing for this session or any other detox service, it is imperative to stay hydrated.  This assists the toxins to be released which helps to strengthen your immune system.

Cupping Lymph Drainage

Therapeutic body cupping has a very profound effect on the lymphatic system. Flow of Lymph, Blood and Interstitial Fluids are imperative in order to achieve optimal health. Trauma, inflammation, dehydration inhibit proper flow causing tissues to adhere together and  trapping toxins within the body.

The Lymphatic System, Digestive System and Circulatory System are aTrifecta for the Immune System!

Cupping is mostly thought of for muscle tension and pain, however, it is beneficial for cellulite, scars, constipation, plantar fasciitis, muscular/skeletal issues and other health concerns.  Aesthetically, it is used to reduce facial puffiness and reduce fine lines.

How it Works
Cups glide along the lymphatic drainage pathways, to assists the lymph to flow and release toxins before being filtered by the Liver and Kidney.

The tissue gently lifts and takes effect with negative pressure.  This type of pressure creates a gentle pulling action, which creates space for the separation of fused tissues or adhesions.  This vacuum effect draws the fluids to specific areas to encourage proper flow.

Contraindications:  Depending on an individuals health, shorter sessions may be recommended to allow for proper fluid exchange and assimilation.

It is best to wait one hour after a meal prior to receiving Lymph Drainage cupping. Preparing for this session or any detox service, it is imperative to drink plenty of water before and after for proper hydration.
